New Life Church is a Hub for the whole community to benefit from. A core foundation to Castle Douglas and the wider Stewartry area. Below are our current community activities taking place. Helping Hands

Community action is right at the heart of our Church. Helping Hands shows God's transforming love in amazing ways through practical support regardless of how 'humble' a project is. Run by a team of volunteers this has included: Emergency food parcels, lifts for medical care, access to debt counselling, bereavement support and family advice to name a few!

Hub Youth Club
The Hub Youth Club is open every Friday evening 7-8:45pm (Term time only) for High School age students and is FREE. It includes X-Box, PS4, WiiU, a multiplayer Arcade Machine, Nintendo Switch, Table Tennis, Table Football, Air Hockey, Pool, plus the Hub Cafe and much more! It’s great fun and whatever your background, you are welcome. The highlight of the evening is the ‘God Slot’ where we are fully committed to raise a generation to know God and His Word, impacting Scotland’s youth to live life in hope, be strengthened in faith and aspire to greatness.
Limitless Kids Club
For Primary School kids in P5-P7. Having fun, living life to the max, developing confidence and skills that will last for life.
Wednesdays after school 4-5pm at the Hub Youth Centre. Contact the church office for more details!
Art Class
Every month in the Hub Centre we have our Art Class. Running from 11:45am-2pm, its a great place develop your artistic skills, whatever your favourite medium be it Watercolour, Acrylic, Pastels, Textiles or more! Meet new people, enjoy a great cup of Tea and have a great time!
Quiz Nights
Throughout the year we host Quiz Nights at 7pm in the Hub Centre. Free entry, prizes, with maximum team size of 6; these make a perfect night out! Minimum age to attend is 12 years old.
Chaplaincy
Tom Dreha is the Chaplain at our local football club, Threave Rovers.
Available to all at Threave Rovers, Tom provides a presence, excellence, relationship, confidentiality as well as humility to anyone seeking pastoral or spiritual advice.
